I wanted to share how to say YES to yourself. Too many times we get caught up with making excuses for things we want to do but tell ourselves we are too busy or aren’t sure if something will work so we stray away from it. I know this because I’ve been there but by listening to what I need to do for me which in turn will help others is why I said yes to creating this blog.
8 years ago when I graduated college I began writing shopping tips I thought could be useful for others, a few years later I began working out so I started writing about fitness and health (as my digestive system needed to be listened to, so I ate healthier) and one year ago I needed to hear some self-love from myself so I wrote Love Letters to myself. I knew I had to say YES to myself by listening to what I knew I could provide, which was all the advice I had been writing and to put it out there for everyone to see. I hope you all can learn from the tips/advice I share and that it will inspire or change your life somehow, even if it’s just by learning to love shopping or cooking.
I also hope that everyone can listen to themselves when they hear their own voice telling them to do something more than what they’re currently doing. Once the voice is heard, write it down (this will create an idea) and then execute it. This could be as simple as writing a nice note to yourself and leaving it by the door for you to see when you leave for work and when you come home. Having positive affirmations will then help you to do more. Writing down goals and leaving them in place where you can see them every day is also a great way to keep yourself motivated and accountable for accomplishing your goals.
Happy Monday! ❤
